Enquiries

Ansel Studios uses the name, email address, company and message you provide to respond to your enquiry and discuss the services you request. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, or legitimate interests in responding to general enquiries. The form’s contact confirmation is not a subscription to marketing.

Enquiries are stored in the website’s hosted database and are accessible through a restricted Ansel inbox. They are kept for up to 180 days, unless a separate client relationship requires records under a new notice. Expired entries are removed when new enquiries arrive. We do not sell enquiry details. Hosting infrastructure is supplied through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare; this can involve processing outside the UK.

Product updates

If you choose to sign up, we use your email address to send occasional Ansel product, feature and workflow updates. Our lawful basis is your consent. The optional checkbox is separate from making an enquiry. We record your email, signup time and the wording you agreed to in our restricted website inbox, using the same hosting providers described above.

Signup records are kept for up to 180 days in this website inbox and expired records are removed when new enquiries or signups arrive. We do not sell your email address. You can withdraw consent at any time through a privacy request. Include the subscribed email address and ask to stop product updates. Any marketing email we send will include an unsubscribe option.

Demo records and cookies

The Baton demo stores a random session identifier in an essential browser cookie to keep your fictional example project separate from other visitors. Demo records expire after seven days of inactivity and are removed when the demo is next used. Please use sample information only. The demo does not verify identities or create authoritative construction records.

Security and service operation

A hash of the connecting IP address is stored with an enquiry to limit spam. Hosting providers may process technical request logs to operate and secure the service. This site does not add advertising cookies or third-party marketing analytics.

Your choices

You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, or object to relevant processing. Choose “Privacy request” on the enquiry form and include enough information to identify your earlier message. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
